The most intriguing thing about this study was my niece's smile. The best thing about children is their natural behaviour that is reflected on their faces. Initially i thought of doing a realistic portrait in natural colors but after completing the underpainting in blue i felt no need of doing so. I left few portions flat and mainly focused on her Expressions.

Elder Brother in Acrylic

This was an experiment with acrylic on paper. I have used lot of water with the paint. I like working in single tone. Although i don't think acrylic works well on paper but it can be used by applying minimum brushwork when you have less time on the clock.
